### Overview
Nestled on the eastern edge of the Okavango Delta (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), Mankwe is set on an 85,000-hectare unfenced concession where lions, elephants and wild dogs roam freely.

- 92 km from Maun (self-drive or road transfer: USD 120 pp)
- Khwai Airstrip road transfer: USD 45 pp
- Light aircraft Maun–Khwai: USD 322 pp | Helicopter Maun–Mankwe: USD 595 pp
### Accommodation
- 10 Meru-style tented suites on raised wooden platforms for 20 guests
- King size bed (convertible to twin) with Scandinavian log-cabin feel
- Private deck with bush views under Mopane trees
- En-suite bathroom with shower
- Solar-powered electricity, fan, safe, charging station, hot water bottle, mosquito repellent
- No fridge; no in-tent WiFi
- 1 child can share with 2 adults (stretcher added)

### Wildlife to Expect
Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Wild Dog, Giraffe, Zebra, Pangolin, abundant birdlife (migratory species Nov–Mar).
### When to Visit
- Best: July–October (dry, cooler, excellent game viewing)
- Green Season: Nov–Mar (baby animals, migratory birds, lush landscapes)
### Children Policy
Accepted from age 7. Age 6+ for Mokoro. Under 7 on exclusive use only.
