Booking Terms & Conditions

How to Book

• All reservations in writing by email: info@hideawaysafrica.com
• Subject to availability; waiting lists on first-come-first-served basis
• Provisional reservations held for 7 days

Deposits & Payment

• 20% non-refundable deposit required within 7 days to confirm (50% for SA Villas in high season)
• Full payment due 30 days before travel
• Bookings made within 30 days of arrival must be paid immediately on invoice
• 5% credit card surcharge applies
• Send proof of payment with lodge name and booking reference

Cancellation Policy

Notice Period	Cancellation Fee
Confirmed but before 60 days	20% of total booking
60–31 days before travel	50% of total booking
30–15 days before travel	75% of total booking
14 days or less	100% of total booking
No show / unused services	No refund

Only written cancellations accepted. Cancellations confirmed only once acknowledged by reservations.

Check-in / Check-out

• Check-in: from 14:00 | Check-out: by 10:00
• Late check-out subject to availability and prior management approval

Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended and considered essential for all guests. Hideaways is not liable for missed connections, delays due to weather, mechanical issues, or other circumstances beyond their control.
